Do I Have to Attend Every Meeting?

While it is encouraged to attend every meeting in BNI to maximize your networking and referral opportunities. Generally, consistent participation helps build relationships and trust among members. If you cannot attend a meeting, it’s often advisable to notify your chapter and consider sending a substitute, if permitted. Frequent absences may affect your standing in the chapter.

A BNI Member is allowed 3 absences within a continuous 6-month period.

If a Member cannot attend, they may send a substitute; this will not count as an absence. Leave of absence is possible for certain extenuating circumstances. (e.g. extended medical issue that prevents members from working) at the discretion of the Membership Committee.

One-Time Application Fee: Approximately HKD 2,600

Annual Membership Fee: Around HKD 8,500
